Description
Molecular testing is the most accurate diagnostic test delivering both a very low rate of false negatives, and a near-zero rate of false positives. Many travel restrictions require a molecular test be conducted prior to arrival. Molecular RT-PCR tests look for specific genetic material that comes only from the virus and have a larger window of detection, which allow this test to identify a positive infection within a couple of days.
